Our Ministries

  • We offer a variety of ministries for youth and young families. To learn more about these ministries, click here.

  • ORLC’s Women’s Ministry hosts an annual women’s retreat, as well as monthly service projects and an annual “Christmas by Candlelight” Event.

  • Our new men’s ministry hosts quarterly cookouts, an annual retreat, and service events throughout the year. This is an opportunity for any man seeking connection to find friendship and spiritual growth.

  • Are you in your mid 20s to early 40s? We understand that this is a uniquely difficult moment of your life, with lots of responsibilities that can feel overwhelming at times.

    Friendship is so important. Our Young Adult ministry meets for weekly on Wednesdays for gatherings focused on not only growing spiritually, but providing a group that will offer support, encouragement, and prayer.

  • In 2024 ORLC reignite its soccer ministry. We have a soccer team that plays against regional churches throughout the year -- and we have found this as a great way to get connected with the local community.

  • One Friday per month ORLC and other volunteers from the Irving area gather at Townsell Elementary to mentor 4th graders. Each 4th grader is paired with a mentor throughout the year, and the mentors help kids grow leadership skills, help them gain life skills, and most of all offer friendship.

  • ORLC offers English classes for $25/semester to anyone seeking to improve their English skills. To learn more about our ESL classes, click here.

  • Every Tuesday through Friday, 9:00-10:15am, ORLC hosts Latin Cardio classes in our Fellowship Hall. These classes are led by certified Zumba instructors. All are welcome to attend, free of charge.

  • Each 3rd weekend of the month, we prepare sandwiches, bags of chips, and bags of cookies for donation to the Soupmobile Church in Dallas. In-person sandwiches are prepared on Friday evening at 7pm, and sandwiches prepared at home can be dropped off on Saturday morning.

  • Our Redeemer welcomes anyone from the greater Irving community in need of non-perishable food goods to come by our church office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, between 9am and 1pm. No ID needed.

  • We offer limited financial assistance to those facing financial emergencies in the wider Irving community. This ministry is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis, and ORLC always reserves the right to deny applications.

  • Each August, ORLC prepares donations of school supplies to any family in need in the Irving area. To register for or ask questions about our Service of Blessing for August 2024, click here.

  • Every 3 months, we host a Saturday evening night of prayer and praise, with contemporary music and the chance to learn about and practice different forms of prayer. We begin each night of Prayer and Praise with a meal together.

  • Each Summer we offer the opportunity for kids under 5th grade to enjoy a summer Bible camp. To learn more about this ministry, click here.

  • Join us as we walk with Joseph and Mary on their journey to find the stable in Bethlehem. Hosted every year in early December, this experience is one you won’t be likely to forget.
